Stoll Custom Framing is a full service Frame Shop and Gallery
I have spent most of my life focused on fine art in one way or another. At an early age, I found my passion for art and quickly sought employment within the industry. While working at a small gallery in San Francisco, I was fortunate enough to handle the original work of one of my favorite artists, W. Eugene Smiths. The thrill of being able to deconstruct the frame and see the piece in its raw form was intoxicating. Immediately, my love of framing was born.
Over the next six years, I honed my unique skills as a professional framer for various local businesses, where I had the opportunity to manage a successful framing shop. In these roles I was entrusted with many brilliant pieces of art, ranging from Ansel Adams’ “Moonrise over Hernandez”, asian woodcuts, and works by Dali, Chagall, and Picasso, to highlight a few. I continued on to receive my Bachelors in Fine Art from the California College of Arts. Since then, I have worked in fine arts education as well as other artisan-based positions.
I am very excited to be taking over ownership of Stoll Custom Framing and to personally handle each and every project that passes through this trusted shop. I am especially thrilled to be able to provide museum-level quality to customers throughout the Bay Area at affordable prices. After all, I have found that the true joy of my profession lies not in financial rewards, but in creating the perfect context for each piece of artwork, which both accentuates the work’s beauty and meets the customers’ desires.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you, and making all of your lives more beautiful.
Thanks for you time
