The East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club was founded in 1982 to give voice to the East Bay LGBTQQI community.
The Club was organized and established to:
Further equality through the political process and community activism
Bring together lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQI) individuals and our allies to achieve equality for all and advance progressive values through the Democratic Party
Raise the the issue of LGBTQQI rights in political campaigns
Lobby for legislation that advances and upholds the rights of LGBTQQI individuals
The Club is governed by an active board of committed volunteers according to the bylaws of the organization.
