Mission Hospice & Home Care

About

Compassionate Care & Comfort When Needed Most Mission Hospice helps patients and families live life to the fullest. Our services include hospice, advanced care and transition care both in-home and in health care facilities (residential care, assisted living, board and care and skilled nursing), bereavement support, volunteer training and mobilization, and outreach and education to the community and health care professionals. Mission Hospice & Home Care has served thousands of families in the San Mateo County community since it was founded in 1979. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the finest quality, compassionate care to those who are terminally ill or facing a life-limiting illness, and to their families. Mission Hospice & Home Care started with a commitment to providing end-of-life services at no cost to patients. That commitment continues today as donations and grants help support patients not covered by insurance or Medicare, or when insurance doesn’t cover the real cost of providing service, as often happens. For more than thirty years, Mission Hospice & Home Care has provided quality care and compassionate support for patients and their families in San Mateo County and surrounding communities. We’re local, independent and structured to meet your personal needs. Our talented staff members are selected for their special caring qualities, and our family of volunteers is carefully trained to provide the very best emotional and social support for you when you need it.
